Welcome to the finale of Friday Food Flicks!

The end is here.

Food Flicks is neglected, I have not had the time to promote it, and so it is time to face it and put her to bed. I am just so busy these days working on content for the other websites — the Iron Site, its Spanish version, and the Calcium Site, along with on-going content for this website. If those projects are not evidence of mania, I don’t know what is. :)

Follow Me on Pinterest I could spend a few more minutes a week on finding more great bloggers to put their weekly posts here but I have decided to use those minutes relaxing just a little bit. For the next two weeks I am committed to taking actual time off. I am spending my afternoons sitting in this swimming hole by myself.

Eat your hearts out.

I’ll keep an eye out on your sites for great recipes and feel free to throw some on our Facebook wall on occasion.

Thank you for sharing your post.

Inspire some sort of emotion in us with your flick:
Mmmmm!:” Good food!
Awwww!:” Cute kids, eating, cooking, or gardening!
Ewwww!:” Industrial food!
Oooooo!:” Great idea!
Or best yet: a big belly laugh.

If your flick is of professional quality, you might inspire a bit of envy too, but it is not required. :)

  4. Amanda,

So sorry to hear that Friday Food Flicks is going away, but chillin’ in that swimming hole sounds pretty nice! I’ll miss your round-up.

I’m sharing a delicious Chipotle Corn & Zucchini Salad, an article on Find Your Why and The How Will Follow, and a Giveaway for a The Complete Idiot’s Guide To Fermenting Foods

    Have a great day!

  5. I completely understand… and since this link up is still “yours” you can pick it up later if you want to. Thank you for hosting as long as you had the time to.

Nice swimming hole, by the way. We have a purple wading pool on the deck, and somehow it doesn’t quite compare.

    Have a great summer!

  6. Bummed that this link up is going away, but I hope the extra moments of down time are lovely! I always enjoy your blog.

  7. Hi,

Thanks for hosting all along, and best of luck with your other projects :) .

For the Grand Finale, I’m sharing my recipe for delicious Purple Garlic Sauerkraut. This is my favorite kraut to pair with beef or lamb, but you’ll make any plate an attention grabber with its vibrant color!

    Have a great summer!
